My Studio Shuffle Playlist

Over the past three years, I’ve been charged with the mantle of the studio sound system. The playlist is compiled from personal recommendations, crate digging, Spotify weekly hits and those ever more important “Shazam” jams that have been making peoples weekends.

Of course, you can always put your headphones in and focus on what you’re doing but there is something nice to be said about finding that fine line where the whole studio is stepping out to the same sounds.

Here’s a little video on how to access the playlist clocking in at 20+ hours of 270 songs and counting.

Outwith Spotify I like to listen to mixes from the incredible Tim Sweeny’s “Beats in Space” radio show out of new york or Andrew Weatherall’s “Music’s not for everyone” and Jason Kerleys monthly “Spectral Jams” on NTS London. It should be said though that these shows are less studio friendly, so get the headphones out and delve deep into what they have to offer.
